Organiser's Description

Always the one to attend. Great event and feedback – everything you expect and more from a top class event. The course is a fast and flat town and country road route, suitable for both experienced and first-time half marathon runners.

Weather so bad it was almost surreal. Gusts up to 40mph, heavy downpours and massive waves meant the organisers had to change the route half way through for the safety of the runners. Obviously, with conditions like that made it a real challenge for everyone. Normally a PB contender but not this time. Still, after all said and done it was quite an experience!
