Organiser's Description
This early season middle distance triathlon - new to the Freebird portfolio - is located at the fabulous Newby Hall Estate in Ripon, North Yorkshire, and has all the same great qualities of Freebird's hugely successful Sundowner Tri. You can expect the same friendly atmosphere of the Sundowner Tri, with the same leisurely start on a Saturday afternoon. So now you have 2 opportunities to experience the longer distance in the fantastic Yorkshire countryside.
The event features a swim in the River Ure, a fast, quiet, and slightly undulating road bike leg, and a lapped road run. It comes complete with a superb post-race party with live music and a fully licensed bar. Camping on site is also available, and included in your entry price you’ll get a cracking Yorkshire meal at the evening party. So if you fancy stepping up the distance, why not give this one a go?
