Organiser's Description

Flying Gazelle West Bay (Bridport) 10k and Half Marathon. Two weeks to run the route.

This is a course in which you can either test yourself and go for it, which would be a challenge considering it's hills... or you can take it easy and have a lovely hike and take in the scenery. Either way, it's a great route. The race starts at the promenade at West Bay, surrounded by the hustling fish & chip vans, which you can reward yourself with after. You then will run west towards the historical landmark that is Thorncombe Beacon, which is some climb. You then head back around through grassy paths and trail and make your way back to West Bay.

Course details:
Distance: 10k (6.2 miles) and Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Elevation: 100ft approx for 10k. 200ft approx for half marathon.
Terrain: Road, paved, grass, gravel
Shoes: Road or Trail. If it's wet, definitely go with trail.

What you will get:
- Race pack including downloadable GPX file, full map with instructions, and gallery of route
- Bespoke Flying Gazelle Finishers Medal
- Branded neck gaiter/buff/snood
- Entry into the Flying Gazelle online results West Bay 10k and half marathon table
- Placement data including overall position for time, age-group, and gender
- Prizes for podium finishers
