Great event and really well run. Good course and well laid out. Only one very big complaint, the last steward sent me down the wrong way. I was absolutely gutted, I would have placed 15th if he did his job correctly but instead I ran an extra 2km had a much lower placing. Good amount of facilities at the start and end. All staff were very friendly.

Tow path route. Flat course being its beside the canal. Until the finish wish is slightly up hill Unadopted route, you will be running over stones of all sizes which could cause issues with your knees. My husband took me to the start. (I am aware there was a paid for bus which could take you there if booked) My husband then drove 19 miles due to the location and having to join the motorway to the finish. A negative about this one is, personally I did not like the taste/smell of the canal boats which would be static yet running along the route. Parking at the end.
