Great Wishford Run

Great Wishford, Wiltshire

Rest Harrow, West St, Great Wishford, Salisbury SP2 0PQ, UK

Sun 13th September 2015

Organiser's Description

This multi-terrain 10k route goes from Great Wishford village up into the scenic Grovely Woods. Prepare for a gradual climb over the first 3k, to be rewarded with an even pace along tracks through ancient woodland, including the magnificent central Roman track, then out onto Hadden Hill with views across the Wylye Valley and a great pace downhill back into the village. A mixture of road, gravel and trail, it can be a challenge for experienced runners, whilst still proving enjoyable for less experienced and new 10kers. Also 3k run, ideal for children, and adults wanting to try running for the first time.
