Run a 5k in the famous Royal Park that overlooks the River Thames and is home to one of London’s most iconic views. With it's spectacular tree-lined avenues, gardens and super-smooth pathways, you'll find yourself captivated by the sights around you as you fly downhill and conquer the climb. Always attracting a range of runners, you'll find yourself amongst runners of a similar pace to help drive you to a brilliant race result and an unbeatable finish line feeling.

With a unique souvenir medal and a goody bag to help get yourself refuelled and replenished, you won't find a better value race experience in a London Royal Park. Plus, there are loads of great places to eat and drink within walking distance of the finish line. Forget any old boring 5k - get yourself entered into this Greenwich Park 5K for a run to remember.

What's Included

Chip-timed.

Bag Drop: You can leave your belongings with us while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number.

Toilets: There will be free toilets nearby, behind The Royal Observatory on The Avenue.

Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.

Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Km markers where necessary.

Water Stations: There will be a water station on the route at halfway point and just prior to the finish at which water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.

Goody Bag: All runners will receive a goody bag on finishing the race.

Refreshments: Refreshments are available at the Pavilion Café, a short walk from the start/finish area.

Medals: All finishers will receive a medal on completing the race.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall and the top runner in each of the veteran categories

Course Details

The course is entirely comprised of tarmac pathway with a starting straight of approximately 100m, one lap of the park and finally a return along the original straight to finish. This course is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.
