By car: Gregynog is accessed via the village of Tregynon, on the B4389, 4 miles northwest of Newtown. Newtown is bypassed by the A483, which runs from Swansea to Chester.

By train: Trains run from Newtown westwards to Machynlleth, then either Aberystwyth or Pwllheli via Barmouth, and eastwards to Shrewsbury & Birmingham International.

Parking is available at Gregynog Hall on a pay and display system £2.50 per day.

The start/finish is outside the spectacular front entrance of Gregynog Hall.

The route is an undulating/hilly road race fully marked and marshalled. Please be aware the first 1.4 mile section can get muddy in bad weather and is trail/road.

This is a lap race consisting of 1 x 10k lap. For the marathon and half marathon there is an additional lap at the start to make up the distance, before heading onto the 10k lap route.

The race is run on open roads so for safety reasons no headphones.

The cafe will be open serving hot drinks and sandwiches.

We have music/refreshments and the event finishes outside the hotel.

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to support the runners around this course. They will also have the ability to explore the beautiful Hall and grounds, and enjoy the music and refreshments at the finish line.
