This was my first ever race, the atmosphere at the start was really good however some of the Marshalls who were there to help direct and cheer you on seemed very uninterested and like they didn’t want to be there particularly by the start of the large hill where the support and encouragement was needed most. Towards the end of the race the park got very busy with none racers who took over the path and didn’t try to move out of the way. Overall it was an okay course

First. This had hills! This early in my training that was hard. Second. It was circuits of the park. Mentally that made it hard work too for me. Finally - it was brilliantly organised. Team were very very friendly. Special thank you to the in run aide who ran with the last two miles. Lovely man and he helped me get over the line in style.

I did the half marathon and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking is easy and a short walk to the race village. There was no queues at both registration and for the loos. The route is challenging but paths are excellent. I would highly recommend.

Great half marathon course, easy to follow. The organization was top notch with really funny and motivating volunteers! All on the walking path without any mud, just make sure you train on some hills prior 😉
