Organiser's Description

--- This event has been cancelled due to ongoing concerns regarding Coronavirus. The race organiser will be in touch with you in due course if you have made a booking for this event. ---

One of the best kept secrets for trail runners in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire - and less than an hour from London!

The Culden Faw Estate sits on the most picturesque banks of the River Thames - you'll run through ancient woodland, farmland and wildlife conservation areas. We're excited to be offering these new routes as a Purple Patch Running exclusive in November, December and January, guaranteed to be spectacular runs along bridleways and trails that make the most of the natural autumnal beauty.

With the usual Purple Patch approach to small, local events, all paces and levels of experience are welcome. With our tried and tested COVID-safe measures in place, you'll be asked for your target finish time when you enter to allocate you a limited-capacity starting wave between 8.30am - 10.30am. Our friendly marshals will see you round the course safely, before you collect your special stag-themed medal and other finishers' rewards.

Other Information

As part of our COVID response to ensure social distancing is possible throughout the event, we are not currently permitting runners to run with Buggies/Pushchairs. Spectators are discouraged but publicly accessible paths may be nominated/excluded at this event.

This event is not suitable for Wheelchair Users due to the nature of the terrain.

Noise-cancelling Earphones/Headphones are prohibited and whilst we discourage the use of other earphones/headphones at this event, participants choosing to use them should ensure they are set to a minimum volume such that instructions from vehicles, animals, marshals or other event officials can be clearly understood. We reserve the right to disqualify participants who cannot hear instructions as a result of their use.

Whilst there is no strict Time-Limit for this event, in order that we adhere to the restrictions imposed by the venue hire agreement, it will be necessary for us to begin deconstruction of the registration/finish area(s) at approximately 13:30 to facilitate the removal of all equipment from the premises by the agreed time. Runners will therefore need to be able to complete their registered distance by this time.
