Immortal Half Stourhead

Stourton, Warminster, Wiltshire

Stourhead, Stourton, Warminster BA12 6QD, UK

Sun 12th May 2019

Organiser's Description

The Immortal Middle Distance triathlon returns to the Iconic Stourhead Estate in Wiltshire. The superb venue guarantees fantastic facilities and breath-taking scenery. But don’t be fooled by the glorious Stourhead National Trust estate, this is a tough and challenging event that will surely test even the fittest and fastest triathletes.

The race starts with a 1900m, two lap swim in the beautiful lake, followed by a 52 mile ride, which is stunning, yet fast and tough in equal measures, and unusually visits the three counties of Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset. The run then follows a footpath through a meadow, a section of tarmac to the far West end of the lap, and goes through the woods to the West of Stourhead on a lively descent. Three laps take you past the Estate House, and the finish line at the House at the end of lap three will bring with it the accolade of becoming an Immortal Triathlete. Get the bragging rights, make 2019 the year you become Immortal.
