Kielder Cross Challenge

Organiser's Description

Two stages, two days, 100km. Enter either one event or both, the choice is yours... This late Winter off-road cycle sportive is set amidst the vast expanse of Kielder Water & Forest Park, which features an extensive network of tracks, with mile upon mile of purpose-built trails including forest rides, woodland single-track and heather clad moorland. The Kielder Cross is based in a remote but beautiful expanse of the Park. A 40k night ride around the full circuit of the Lakeside Way on the Saturday is followed by a more challenging 60k circuit on the Sunday, incorporating a wider variety of terrain. 18/19 February. (Date tbc)
