Kielder Run Bike Run

Hexham, Northumberland

Unnamed Road, Hexham NE48 1BT, UK

Sat 7th October 2017

Organiser's Description

This event follows an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland. The relay offers teams of three the opportunity to complete the Kielder marathon on the lakeside way course without having to run the full distance. Individual competitors are also invited to take part. The course is broken down into the following sections: 1st Leg Run – 11k, 2nd Leg Bike – 25k, 3rd Leg Run – 5k. This event kicks off a whole weekend of events at Kielder, which includes a 10k, a half marathon and a marathon.
