21 Abbey Park Rd, Leicester LE4, UK

Sun 17th July 2016

Organiser's Description

The 6th running of this fantastic race - a little later date this year to allow for completion of the work going on both within Abbey Park, and also along the stretch of the canal that the race uses. PB potential – ie it's a nice flat course, all you have to do is the training!

Great atmosphere. Overall very well organised event with an amazing atmosphere. The route takes you round the outside of Abbey Park a couple of times (where part of the road is sectioned off for you) and through the park and down next to the canal a couple of times, not all in that order. There was one water station set up at about km 6-7. It's a fairly flat one, would be good for setting a PB. I will definitely be returning next year. 5 stars.
