Organiser's Description

A trail half marathon and marathon, which we think will become a firm favourite for anyone who likes the Canal Canter and Kirkstall. The route runs from Kirkstall Abbey and follows the route of the Kirkstall Abbey Trail event for the first couple of miles, then breaks away to follow the River Aire along a fantastic clear trail to Apperley Bridge.

A really fab day. It was my first event with It's Grim Up North, I found the team really friendly and helpful, registration was easy, route was well sign posted and there were goody bags and cake at the finish, it was great all round!
