Lulworth Cove Trail Running Challenge

Lulworth Cove, Jurassic Coast, Dorset

West Lulworth, Wareham BH20 5PU, UK

Sat 23rd March 2019

Organiser's Description

We are very excited to return to Lulworth Cove in Dorset for this Challenge, one of the most beautiful and recognisable stretches of coastline in the country, situated right on the South West Coast Path. The Durdle Door overflow car park is a beautiful place to begin, and all four distances will take on this stretch of coastline, almost all the way to Weymouth.

The 10k runners will climb away from the coast to find the higher coastal path, before heading back to Lulworth and the finish. The rest of the field carries on to Osminton Mills, leaving the coast path for a while before joining the upper coast path and heading back to Lulworth Cove. Marathon and Ultra runners will carry on past the start/finish line to begin the second leg of their challenge, heading in the other direction along the coast path towards St Alban’s Head and Poole, turning off the coast path at different times before looping back to Lulworth Cove to the finish line.Canicross friendly.
