Martello Half Marathon

Seaford, East Sussex

Seaford, East Sussex

Sun 30th June 2019

Organiser's Description

A trail run on the beautiful South Downs in the vicinity of Seaford, where your ability as a runner will be tested on a scenic route. You will mostly be on footpaths or bridlepaths, tracks and minor roads. In places the terrain can be challenging but the views make it worthwhile.

This event, which was originally for runners, walkers, and cyclists, has successfully taken place for several years as the Seaford Martello Triple Challenge. For 2019 it was decided to restrict the event to runners and re name it as the Martello Half Marathon. It is organised by the Martello Rotary Club of Seaford and Nice Work. This Half Marathon is a chance to support the British Heart Foundation in its tireless fight to defeat heart disease - profits will go to the BHF.
