Maverick X Ultra Jurassic Coast
New for 2020 we bring you the Maverick Adidas Terrex X-ULTRA Jurassic Coast. Set in the home of Maverick Race all four trail races will take you on an invigorating adventure around the Isle of Purbeck and along part of the 95 mile stretch of the famous Jurassic Coast.
All routes start just outside the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, where you’ll then run steadily across marshland gradually making your way towards the coast. Our 50km route will take your right down to the tip of the purbecks at St. Aldhelm’s Head before heading on a 20km stretch along the coastal path. You’ll be treated to nothing but unparalleled views of the English Channel to your left and the distinctive white chalky cliffs up ahead.
We are so excited to welcome you to where Maverick Race all started and the trails that inspired us to get outdoors and start exploring. We can’t wait to share our favourite paths, hills and views with you, knowing you’ll be stunned and challenged in equal measure. Whether you are brand new to trail running or have run many times before with four distances to choose from there is something for all levels. \
There aren’t views in the UK quite like the Jurassic coast and no-one does trail running events quite like us, so join us in October, you won’t want to miss out.

Maverick Race was born from teamwork and has grown to what it is through a hardworking family of what can only be described as the ultimate ‘dream team’.
Brand new for 2020 we are introducing a team competition across all four Maverick Adidas Terrex X-Ultra series events, giving you the opportunity to run and compete with your very own ‘dream team’.
At each Maverick Adidas Terrex X-Ultra event you can enter to run as a team of 4, whereby each runner runs 1 of the 4 distances on offer. The winning team is the team of 4 with the quickest cumulative time across all 4 distances.
All 4 runners set off at the same time then along the route members of your team will peel off according to which route they are running.
Entering as a team saves you £20 over all 4 distances (£160 instead of the individual sum of entries at £180).
So, Now more than ever before, running with Maverick race means you will never feel truly alone out on the trails and there is a distance for everyone. Knowing that your own team of Mavericks will be waiting for you at the finish line is enough to make sure you’re screaming ‘squad-goals’ come that finish line.
First-hand event reviews from people who’ve been there, done that and got the breathable T-shirt, really help everyone choose their next event.
Write a review and you’ll be entered into a monthly draw to win a pair of running shoes of your choice from Pro:Direct Running.
