Monarch's Way Ultra
615 miles non-stop on Britain's longest inland path - can it be run in one go? Averaging 47 miles a day for 13 days solid, this is possibly the longest non-stop race of its kind in Europe. Don't confuse this with multi-day racing, you start running, then you stop when you're finished, or at the finish! You decide where and when to sleep - no crew, no pacers or outside support... There will be checkpoint locations manned by race crew every 25-50 miles who will have your spare kit and supplies. This is a real challenge and not to be taken on board casually, we're not even sure it's possible. So far it has a 0% finish rate...
