Montane Spine Fusion

Edale, Derbyshire

Edale, Derbyshire

Sat 23rd June 2018

Organiser's Description

Race up to 268 miles non-stop along the most iconic national trail in Britain - the Pennine Way - from Edale in Derbyshire to Kirk Yetholm on the Scottish Borders. Tracing the backbone of England, the trail crosses some most beautiful and finest upland landscapes in the country, from the Peak District, through the Yorkshire Dales, across the North Pennines, over Hadrian’s Wall, on to the remote Cheviot Hills and, finally, that elusive village of Kirk Yetholm.

This event retains our ethos of day/night racing, self-reliance and self-management. We are there to help you along the way with our support teams and checkpoints, but there is very little hand holding on this race. We think of these events as the fun before the extreme fury of our Winter events. But please remember that as this is an exposed route - the weather can change quickly and you need to be prepared for it. 23 June - 1 July.
