No Ego Mud Challenge - The Penrith Beast

Penrith, Cumbria

3 Devonshire St, Penrith CA11 7SR, UK

Sat 17th October 2015

Organiser's Description

This is where it all began, Greystoke Castle, Penrith, where the terrain is some of the wildest in England. Just running here is classed as an 'obstacle'! Set in the heart of The Lake District, with some of the finest views in England - if you can keep your head up long enough to appreciate them - this 12k ish is one of the toughest ‘mud’ challenges in the UK. If you've taken part at Penrith before - forget everything you know! We've got big things planned and this year will see massive improvements and changes to the course, with a BETTER event village, BIGGER obstacles, MORE mud, MORE water, and LONGER forest sections. Also new for 2015 - 1 mile junior and 5 mile options.
