No Ego Torch Challenge - Lampton Castle

Chester le Street, County Durham

5 Newcastle Rd, Chester-le-Street, Chester le Street DH3 3TS, UK

Sat 6th February 2016

Organiser's Description

The Lambton Castle head torch race will be the third in a series of No Ego Challenge night runner races in 2015/2016. Pure trail running, No Ego style, in the dark !! The 5 mile course takes place on the tracks and trails through Lambton Estate, a completely private estate not normally open to the public. This race will be on gravel roads, trails and tracks through the forest. Head torch racing is fun and challenging; don't forget your sense of humour. You will get dirty, so be prepared. This is not an obstacle race, apart from ducking to miss branches, avoiding tree roots and running down steep descents.
