Organiser's Description
The Oban Sportive is a back country challenge making use, in the large part, of Route 78 of the National Cycle Network. Two awesome routes - 52 miles with 1335m of climb and 84 miles with 2056m of climb - both make use of single track roads, and you can expect to deal with variable tarmac and cattle grids. You can also expect plenty of climbing, steep descents and winding roads - and some of Argyll's finest landscape. The Highlands are waiting!
