Organiser's Description
Following the success of last year's inaugural Off the Bloom Adventure Race, the 2018 event is planned to be even bigger and better. Set in the picturesque village of Kinnitty, at the foothills of Ireland's Slieve Bloom Mountains, the splendid grounds of the renowned Kinnitty Castle will provide the backdrop to the start and finish. Over the course of the race, competitors will take in the breathtaking views of the Irish midlands while running, kayaking and biking their way through the natural peat-lands bogs and rolling Slieve Bloom Mountain range. Two route options - Sport (total 36.5k), and Elite (total 70k) which includes kayaking. Both options include a mountain run.
