Open Water Swimathon - Lower Lakes
Open Water Swimathon is back and taking place at venues all across the UK! There are distances for everyone, from 500m to 5k. This is your chance to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie, two causes close to the Nation's heart, all whilst taking on an amazing challenge.
Choose to take part in an organised session at one of our registered venues, or at a time and place that suits you from Friday 30 August to Sunday 15 September with our flexible MySwimathon option. Lower Lakes has a 4 acre body of water formed from a disused clay pit. The circuit will be 500m and it will be marked with buoys. The lake is surrounded by beautiful woodlands with walking paths around. Events Saturday 7 September and and Sunday 8 September.
