5 S End, Osmotherley, Northallerton DL6 3BN, UK

Sun 23rd October 2016

Organiser's Description

With a start and finish in the beautiful village of Osmotherley, the route will take you out of the village on the Cleveland Way to the mast at Beacon Hill, before heading back towards Cod Beck Reservoir. A short road section will take you to Square Corner, which is where the serious climbing begins, upwards onto the Black Hambleton Hills, where the views on a clear day will take your breath away. You will stay high for 3 miles before dropping back down towards Square Corner, returning to Osmotherley via the Cleveland Way. Public footpaths and bridleways. The area around Osmotherley provides some amazing running terrain, and this event takes full advantage of it.
