Organiser's Description

A half-marathon around the roads, tracks and field paths of Otmoor, near Oxford. This is the 40th running of this race, which attracts runners of all abilities from the local area and much further afield.

The mass start takes place form the Millennium Hall in the village of Horton cum Studley, in the middle of the village fete. The route is mostly flat, apart from a 130ft climb up to the village of Beckley at about 11 miles. There's entertainment, food and a licensed bar, enthusiastic supporters cheer the runners on, there are trophies to be won in the main categories, and every runner finishing gets a medal.
