The one race that keeps drawing me back. Third time running the Ottery 10k, its an undulating course that is just the right side of challenging, set in some beautiful countryside with a start running through the town itself and finishing with, if you have the energy, a dash around the edge of the cricket ground so all in all its a lovely little race, however what sets it apart from similar races is the superb support and encouragement from the organisers, marshals, volunteers, spectators and even other runners. It is one of the friendliest events I've had the pleasure to attend and judging by the increase in numbers attending this year I'm not the only one who thinks so.
So if you fancy giving it a go next year I would book early as I do as it always sells out.
