Organiser's Description
If you only do a couple of Phoenix events this year, or even just one, then this, or the Golden Phoenix, are the ones! Each year we intend to do an event or two where the medal(s) and the event(s) cost more than the entry fee. We absolutely love medals and this way we try and give you something you literally can't get anywhere else! And in 2019 we're aiming to bring you the 'best' medals you've ever seen.
A special 7 hour timed event where you choose from 5k to ultra marathon - you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful River Thames! We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit.
