I love this

Signed up for the 46 as I didn't get a place in the 100. Nice late start (0908) meant I could comfortably travel by tube and cycle from Aldgate straight up the CS2 to Stratford. Bag drop worked perfectly. Bit of hanging around waiting to start but given the number of people riding I cannot moan about that. Plenty of toilets at start area.
The course is an absolute pleasure - closed roads through the centre of London!! Very flat course - only 3 small rises in the whole 74km.
Finish a bit congested but, again, 30,000+ riders... Lots of food options in Green Park
A good introduction for somebody considering a sportive but unsure about riding in big groups. No traffic at all is such a big positive
