Organiser's Description
An off-road fun run which started in 2009 and so far has raised nearly £100,000 for Cancer Research UK. The event was aimed at men and complimented the well-established women-only Race for Life. In 2018 Race4Men will be open to both male and female entrants of all ages, and we are hoping that this will encourage families and groups to join us. There is also a children’s 2k dash. Furthermore, there is a silver salver “Team Fundraising Trophy” that is presented each year and engraved with the name of the team, group or club that collectively raises the most funds for CRUK.
Run, walk or jog, 5k or 10k, the choice is yours. Come by yourself or come as part of a team. Come in fancy dress if you want! Live music, refreshments and family entertainment. Also Kids' 1k dash on Plock Court before the main event.
