Organiser's Description

You can chose from 34 events all across the UK throughout spring, each with a choice of distances. Resolution Run Derby will be offering 5k and 10k distances.

Whatever distance you chose, you set the pace, it doesn’t matter if you sprint, run or walk your Resolution Run we will be there to support you every step of the way.
There are 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK living with devastating wide-ranging disabilities such as speech difficulties, memory loss and mental health issues.
That’s why we need your help – to raise funds so we can rebuild lives.
A stroke is a brain attack. It happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off, killing brain cells. Damage to the brain can affect how the body works. It can also change how you think and feel. The effects of a stroke depend on where it takes place in the brain, and how big the damaged area is.
The Stroke Association support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke.
We provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.
Rebuilding lives after stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there.

Well organised and fun atmosphere. This was my first organised run so a little bit nervous. But I was laughing all through the warm up. The course was signed well and the marshalls all encourage you as you past. Great run and loads of fun.
