Ride It - Somerset MTB

Priddy, Wells, Somerset

Snowberry House, Pelting Drove, Priddy, Wells BA5 3BA, UK

Sat 6th August 2016

Organiser's Description

A new addition for 2016 and slightly longer than our usual MTB events. This event takes in some challenging terrain over the Mendip Hills and surrounding area, with around 3,000ft of ascent on the 32 mile route, and over 5,000 ft of ascent on the 52 mile route,. We’ll be based from Priddy, near the top of the Mendip Hills, where the routes start with a short road section towards Cheddar Gorge, before we pick up some of the off-road trails. The terrain is quite varied, with some road riding to link the off-road trails, but also plenty of challenging off-road terrain with rocky descents and climbs to test your skills.
