Great event, not an easy route...
Collecting packs is easy; the race numbers are good quality and the chip is on the number.
I'm cheating here because I'm local - I can walk/jog down to Priory Park. I imagine that parking can be tricky but there's plenty of on-street parking with a mile. The race village is busy, but there's plenty there and a good amount of toilets. Bag drop is good.
It's not hard, it's not easy. It's a really good challenge with hills, long out-and-backs, residential and country lanes. Its not a race for PBs. There is a killer hill at about 8.5km, so save some energy for that and try to keep going up it (there's a looong downhill after, so keep that in mind).
The last 400m have great support and the finish line is loud and exciting. Bag collection is easy.
It's won multiple awards and I can understand why. Prices are reasonable for what it is, but get the well-priced early bird entries if you can.
Would I do it again? Yes, I'm already signed up (for the Half this year)
