The race itself was very good, and it was an easy and fast route as the name suggests. However, the organisation was somewhat lacking, there was very little in the way of signage for the event when arriving at the venue and the race started half an hour late after all competitors had to trudge across a grassy section covered in weeds to reach the start of the half marathon. It has now been over 24 hours since the event and the official results have not been published nor do there seem to be any photographs from the event which is pretty poor compared to most other events I have taken part in which normally publish this information within an hour.

Beautiful course, lovely and flat as promised. Unfortunately there was no signage whatsoever from the road or inside the compound to guide people to the race. We drove around (along with several other people) for quite some time before we figured out where we needed to be. The race was a bit lonely as there weren't a great deal of people running so for long periods of time you end up just running to the sound of your own footsteps. The organisers were lovely and super helpful, and all of the other runners were really supportive. Was a bit sad when the photographer saw me and put the camera down having taken photos of runners ahead of me, and instead chose to take pictures of spectators, but trying not to take that personally. Water and snacks at the end were most welcome! Over all I don't think this one was for me really but others seemed to really enjoy it and it's a good opportunity to go for a pb given the flat and even terrain.
