Run For The 96 5k

Stanley Park, Anfield, Liverpool

Stanley Park Liverpool, Walton Lane, Liverpool, UK

Sat 16th May 2020

Organiser's Description

Run in memory of the 96 Liverpool football fans lost in the Hillsborough tragedy, this special 5k is developing into an amazing legacy event for the local communities, and in particular the LFC Foundation and Everton In The Community. And this year there is even more meaning to the day with the Hillsborough timeline reaching 30 years on April 15th.

The route starts and finishes in Stanley Park, passing the Hillsborough Memorial Eternal Flame on Anfield Road. Anfield Stadium and Goodison Park will provide a fitting backdrop as part of the route, giving runners the opportunity to show their respect for the 96 as they run and remember on race day.
