Run Girl Run 5k & 10k

Salt Ayre, Lancashire

Salt Ayre Ln, Lancaster LA1 5JR, UK

Sun 11th September 2016

Organiser's Description

During the 90s an annual 10k event just for women was held in Lancaster, and women from all over the UK came to take part. Due to traffic and venue problems this race sadly ceased to exist - but in 2015, the Lancaster Race Series brought it back! The first running of Run Girl Run saw 70 ladies taking part, and in 2016 we hope to see a lot more! A 99% traffic-free route, this race looks to encourage first time runners, pb hunters and groups of ladies with a goal of completing a 5k or 10k. From Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, Lancaster.
