Run Richmond Park 5k & 10k Race 10
Our Run Richmond Park race series will be running on a regular basis over the course of 2020. The races will take you around superb parkland. There’s a few hills but they make it more fun! There's the option of 5k or 10k. Super fun, friendly and beautiful surroundings! These runs are very limited and do sell out quickly so secure your place today.
Every runner receives a super cool medal at the finish line
Trophies for the overall winners of the 5k and 10k
Results go live as the event is taking place and can be viewed at the Results Base timing tent when you cross the finish line. They also go live on The Fix Events website
Bag storage is available but space is limited so travel as lightly as possible
Sweets at the finish line along with any additional products that may be supplied by any of our event partners
Water is available at the start/finish and at the 5k point
Richmond Park, East Sheen Carpark, Sheen Gate, London, SW148BJ.
The closest park gate to the event is East Sheen Gate, off Sheen Lane. The postcode is SW14 8BJ.
Mortlake is the closest station and about a 10 minute walk from Sheen; trains come in to Richmond and from there it's a 20-30 minute walk;
There are plenty of regular buses stopping near Sheen Lane. Check the TFL website here for more information
Parking is available onsite but the carpark does get full quickly so plan your journey to arrive with plenty of time to spare.
The 5k will all start at 10am and the 10k will start at 10.10am
Registration will be open from 8.30am and will close at 9.50am.
You will collect your race pack at registration on the day of the event.
Race information will be sent by email pre-event and this will tell you what your race number is so you know where to queue on the day of the event.
You will be using Chip on Bib race numbers and it is important these are displayed on your outer garment to ensure we can see your race number when running and to help with the timing system to read your time.
The run will take you up and around Richmond Park and the course is a mix of country paths, a little bit of cross country and is slightly undulating. Remember it's all good fun and you can walk, jog or run. The course may be altered prior to the event, and if so we will inform you of this.
The start of the run will be staggered to abide by Richmond Park Policy. However this will not affect your time as our Results Base timing system will record your time from when you cross the starting mat.
There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you.
Water is available at the start/finish and at the 5k point. If you require additional fluid between these points please bring your own.
Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be on the Park. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided. Be aware that there are deer in the Park and they occasionally cross the walking paths and roads.
Write a review and you’ll be entered into a monthly draw to win a pair of running shoes of your choice from Pro:Direct Running.
Good park run!
Good way to spend a morning
Great marshalls - organised
- very muddy/pools of water (we were warned) causing lots of bottle necks and the beginning. I feel they could have amended the course
- 2 laps of the same course, less motivating
Not the best
Really great event and great course!
Lovely event, kind stewards and nice meadle to finish! Would definitely recommend
A lovely experience
Think there should be a bit more flags around course rather than just the km markers to help with momentum but overall very good! Thank you
Very Enjoyable Event
Well Organized and a beautiful park to run in
Well organised jaunt around Richmond Park
Good route, in which your mostly running down the gradients at Richmond Park as opposed to up them.
Although the organisers said there isn’t much space for parking, it seemed okay for me. Although I did do my run in January, maybe it’s different in spring / summer.
My only criticism would be the number of toilets, especially for females - maybe some additional porter loos to increase capacity would help.
Best stewards ever!!
A great first event
Well organised as always
Small but perfectly formed.
A small but amazing race
Great first ever 10K
My first 10k in Richmond Park
First ever 5k!
But next time hopefully for the 10k. The park is beautiful and the highlight was running past the stags! Couldn’t fault the event from start to finish.
