Old Rd, Derry Hill, Calne SN11 0LZ

Fri 31st May 2019

Organiser's Description

The nation’s big new running party! Join us for a weekend of epic running, awesome music, inspirational talks, tonnes of festival fun and the opportunity to camp in Wiltshire’s beautiful Bowood House & Gardens.

Ease yourself into the weekend with our untimed runs on the Friday (The 'Sunset Shuffle' 5k run, and The Night Time Neon Run Sponsored by LightupU), followed by music sets from Razorlight & Reef.

Busy Saturday has a run for everyone, our timed routes include 2.5k, 5k, 10k and a Half marathon (sponsored by Trail Running Magazine). Then party with Olly Murs, Faithless DJ set, The Coral & Ten Tonnes!

The festival ends with a themed team fun run and mega lunchtime party: 2.5k or 5k Big Bug Run, and The Big Bug Hoe Down!

Once you’ve bought your tickets to RunFestRun, each ticket holder will be put into a team that they will run for over the weekend. Team Captains for the weekend will be the legendary line-up of: Colin Jackson, Paula Radcliffe, Steve Cram and Natasha Evans (wife of Chris Evans).
Runfestrun Teams

At RunFestRun, we want you to run for yourself, run together and run as a team.

Whether you are a multi-marathon runner, middle distance pacer, a short distance shuffler or an outright amateur runner, our team captains of Paula Radcliffe, Steve Cram, Colin Jackson and Natasha Evans have got you covered.

Once you’ve bought your tickets to RunFestRun, each ticket holder will be put into a team that they will run for over the weekend.

With each run you complete you will win points for your team, and the team with the most points after the Fun Run will be crowned the winners!

Camping

Your weekend ticket includes access to the RunFestRun campsite and festival site on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The festival will open early in the afternoon on Friday with access to the campsite from 12pm. Your weekend ticket includes car parking, however cars are not permitted next to your tent and will be located in the car park nearby. The campsite has toilets, showers and catering outlets for food, coffee and soft drinks.

We’re pleased to note that our entire campsite is family friendly, no areas are particularly noisy, all areas have a curfew and hold the same rules.

Don’t panic, we have taken into account that after a long day’s running all you’ll want to do is have a nice hot shower. There will be plenty of shower and changing facilities for all RunFestRunners. In our efforts to be an environmentally friendly festival, the showers will not be turned on until Saturday morning - but don’t worry, from then on they’ll be on until the end of the festival!

Glamping

There will be a selection of Glamping options available to book via Vintents once you have booked your weekend camping tickets. Prices start at £400.

Vintents’ collection of upcycled vintage canvas tents is one of a kind - each tent is unique with its own colour scheme and retro patterns. Their classic canvas tents are full standing height throughout with a living area and separate cotton canopied sleeping compartments, making them the perfect mix of practical and cosy.

Offering comforts such as homemade wooden tables, eco-friendly rugs, winter bedding and phone charging, their cosy tents are down to earth and homely.

Arrive to a freshly made bed in style with a warm reception from a friendly team.

*Winner* Best Glamping & Accommodation Provider @ The Festival Supplier Awards 2019.

Nannies!

Keepers of calm, Mortimer Nannies are thrilled to be attending the first RunFestRun!

The Nannies will be providing care throughout Saturday daytime, allowing parents to take part in any races and events, safe in the knowledge that the little ones will be having a lovely time.

Each session will be manned by the Mortimer team which is made up of qualified nannies, child carers and DBS checked assistants – all who have been carefully vetted and chosen with festivals in mind. With generous adult:child ratios and decades of experience, you can be assured that the children will be safe, happy and having just as much fun as you.

The Mortimer HQ is decked out with board games, fancy dress, toys, crafts and cosy nooks with blankets and beanbags. The Nannies will be keeping their charges busy with a tiring range of messy, crafty, fun activities and outdoor games.
