I would recommend RunThrough events. The 5/10k in race in Finsbury Park was good fun to run, and well run by the organisers! I valued the vocal encouragement from staff while running, the water helpers, photography, technology for timings, and the secure environment to stow bags. It was a well-organised and well-attended event. I would recommend RunThrough events, like the 10k I ran, to other runners of varying abilities, and I plan to take part in some more races!

My first run. This was my first run in Alexandra Palace park, which is almost up-hill, but worth it as you get great views of London from the top. Really well organised event, staff were friendly and helpful, facilities (registration, bag-drop, water, toilets) were all top-notch, a lively MC to get everyone going, a 5-minute warm-up from a fitness trainer, and we (around 400 of us) were off. Three laps of the iconic Alley-Pally park, almost all up-hill, and at the end, a medal, a banana, a massage, and a home-made flapjack eased the pain of a tough but enjoyable 10k run - the perfect start to a Sunday morning. Already looking forward to the next one.
