Organiser's Description

We’re back for 2017 with our mid-week, evening 5k and 10k events, with some new venues. It’s a battle to get around the course before the sun goes down. Starting at 7pm, you can either play it safe and race around a quick 5k or go for broke and take on a full 10k before the sun sets. At the end of the race you will be rewarded with your well deserved Chase the Sun themed medal! Join us at Brixton, staged on the concrete paths of Brockwell Park, a large, historic park located between Brixton, Dulwich and Herne Hill. Check out our calendar for a full list of Chase the Sun events this summer.

Great experience. I ran the 5k run yesterday and I was really impressed! I have never ran a full 5k without stopping to walk before but the run is so well laid out and the asssistants around the course were extremely encouraging that I was able to run the whole way! It was really well organised and the water and snacks at the end were very appreciated! It made the running experience much more enjoyable as it felt like I was part of a team and I was really encouraged to keep going and I was able to make my goal of running the whole way without walking!
