Organiser's Description

Join us for our next Chase The Sun instalment at the Olympic Park! Racing around the inspiring grounds of London 2012′s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, it's a battle to get around the course before the sun goes down, and the flat and fast course is the perfect opportunity for a chip timed personal best.

As always with a RunThrough event each kilometer will be accurately marked out and there will be plenty of signs and marshals around the course to keep you going all the way to the finish!

The race will start in waves based on your estimated finish time, with the faster runners at the start and slower near the back to avoid any congestion and the need to overtake on course.

Well organized

All was good, volonteers, cheering, timing... i was a bit sceptic for the bagd, scared they are not safe enough, but in the end it was all good. Well done! Hope to see you again!

really well organised

good course - flat, around the olympic stadium. Was maybe a tad short but that really isn't the end of the world. Nice medal, good snacks at the end. Really friendly atmosphere

Brilliant organisation and event staff

This was my first 10k since I started running 2 months ago, fantastic organisation and motivational stewards. Love the medal.

Richard Wenham / Aug 08, 2019

I loved it.

I loved it. I thought it was really well organised and I couldn't fault the set up on the day, everything ran really smoothly and there were loads of people around to ask for help if needed. The staff and marshals were all super friendly and supportive during the race and there were plenty of them out on the course. My only criticism is that I didn't like a four-lap course. I don't think this would have stopped me doing the race though.
