Saint Cuthbert's Way Ultra

Holy Island, Northumberland Coast

Next Door Cottage, Marygate, Holy Island, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2SD, UK

Sat 16th July 2016

Organiser's Description

Bridging the border between Scotland and England, this inspiring 100k route will start in reverse, at Holy Island, in an AONB on the Northumberland coast. The route heads Westwards, crossing large sections of the Northumberland National Park and the beautiful Scottish Borders region, finishing at Melrose, which is where Saint Cuthbert's journey is thought to have started. Also a 45 mile option starting at Wooler, which, although it may miss the iconic Holy Island to Wooler run, it misses none of the stunning scenery and undulations.
