Organiser's Description

The Salomon Trail Running Festivals will be held in three specially selected locations across the UK: Edale in Peak District, Holyrood in Edinburgh and Box Hill near London.

Whether you are a seasoned road runner, or eager to start running, these activity-filled days will help you on your trail running journey. Our festivals are the perfect opportunity to get involved in the trail running community, enjoy the freedom nature offers, and find your local trails.

Choice of 10k, 20k, 50k Ultra and Mini Trail.

Demo pool of trail running kit: an opportunity to trial Salomon shoes, hydration packs and Suunto watches

How To Get There

For your sat nav, use S33 7ZA to find directions to the festival village.

There is parking available on the festival site and an overflow car park which will be clearly signposted on the road. Parking is £5 for the day in our overflow event car park.

The nearest train station is Edale, which is a 3 minute walk from the event site

Festival Village

We encourage participants to bring along spectators who can come and enjoy the festival whilst you take on trail running workshops, yoga sessions and trail runs. There will also be lots of opportunities to learn more about trail running and hear from trail running experts. Parking, food and drink retailers and toilets will be available in the event village.

Age Restrictions

You must be 16 years old and over to enter the timed race. There will be a children’s trail run at each event, timings will be communicated in the pre-event email.

General T&Cs

Refunds

You are eligible for a full refund (minus the online booking fee) within the 14 days cooling off period from the day of booking.

Note: The cooling off period does not apply where a booking is made within 14 days of the event date.

Any withdrawals after the 14 days cooling off period will not be eligible for a refund.

Route Amendment and Cancellation Policy

Salomon will host the best and safest events possible. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, which result in potentially unsafe conditions Salomon Events will either:

Amend the run course to make the event safe.

or

Where conditions cannot be made safe, cancel the event.

Where the event is modified under condition 1 above, no refund will be applicable. In the event of a cancellation under condition 2 above, competitors will be offered a Salomon product to the value of the event entry.

Where possible, we shall give at least 24 hours notice to any potential amendment or cancellation.

No refunds will be offered if cancellation is due to an unforeseeable natural disaster or ‘act of God’.

Safety requirements

If you’re still on the run course after two hours, a marshal may ask you to leave the course or require you to wear a head torch in order to finish the course.

You must be 16 years old and over to enter the timed run.

Not a well organised event. Not awesome having to waste time figuring out where the race marshalls (and you) are on a map so you can tell them where to direct people. Or having most of the food stalls close before the timed races finish. Still a shockingly brutal/beautiful race
