Saltaire Stampede

Shipley, West Yorkshire

SALTAIRE BREWERY, County Works, Dockfield Road, Shipley BD17 7AR

Thu 25th July 2019

Organiser's Description

A 5 mile (approx) 'Beat The Clock' race alongside the River Aire and Leeds & Liverpool Canal. The race clock will be set to 70 mins, and will count down to zero. You decide when you want to start, based on how long you think it will take you to run the course, but you must get back before the clock reaches zero! The winner will be the last person to set off, provided he / she gets back in time. The race should end with a stampede along Dockfield Road back into the brewery yard as the clock mercilessly ticks down to 0:00.

The race will start and finish at Saltaire brewery, with a beer voucher for all finishers, good for a pint of any of Saltaire's wonderful cask beers. If you fail to 'beat the clock' you will be eliminated from the results, but don't worry, you'll still get your race time, and - more importantly - your beer voucher!
