Organiser's Description

--- This event has been postponed due to ongoing concerns regarding Coronavirus. The race organiser will be in touch with you in due course if you have made a booking for this event. Please check back for the rescheduled date for later in the year. ---

Whether you’re a couch potato or a seasoned runner, beat your own personal best this year with Blind Veterans UK. Join us for a 5k or 10k chip-timed run taking runners through Stadt Moers Park, which covers 220 acres of land between Whiston and Huyton, in Merseyside. Enjoy the beautiful meadows, woodland and pond habitats as this undulating route takes you through a network of tarmac paths, blocked paving, grass and trail paths. The route includes narrow paths, short inclines and can be very muddy in some sections.

Since 1915, Blind Veterans UK has been providing rehabilitation, training, practical advice and and lifelong support to tens of thousands of blind ex-Service men and women, and funds raised from this event will go towards helping blind Veterans rebuild their lives after sight loss. You can enter the event and pledge to raise funds for the Charity, or you can enter as a self-funded entry with no fundraising requirements.
