Organiser's Description

The demanding and spectacular route encircling Snowdon has given this event – oddly regarded as one of the most difficult of marathons! - a unique place in the annual marathon calendar since its inauguration in 1982.

Never ceases to deliver. This was my second attempt at Snowdon Marathon and once again it was hard, amazing, emotional and down right stunning. The scenery is amazing (we’ve had good weather luckily), the support along the way is immense and Phoenix corner on the last straight gives chills everytime. Such a shame this run is going to ballot next year but keep up the good work 😊
