It’s time to go home Spartans! An endurance weekend like no other awaits us at Marston Lodge, the home of Spartan Race UK & Ireland. Prepare for rolling hills, amazing scenery and challenging woodland trail runs. We have conquered this landscape many times before and we are hungry to do the same this year. Are you ready? How To Get There

By car: From the A14 take the A508 Harborough Road at Junction 2 towards Market Harborough. Turn left onto Longhold Rd. Continue onto Naseby Rd, slight right onto Church St, turn left to stay on Church St, turn right onto Sibbertoft Rd and into Marston Trussel. Use postcode LE16 9TT for your Satnav.

From the A6 take the A4304 through Market Harborough, to a left turn onto to Theddingworth Rd. Follow the road to your destination.

By train: Market Harborough Station is 4.3 miles away from the venue and is served by the fast and semi-fast East Midlands Train services. Trains to London are around every half hour and all off peak trains now start or end at Nottingham. One of these is non-stop to or from London; the other is a semi-fast service via Kettering, Wellingborough, Bedford and Luton Airport Parkway. Services North to Nottingham call at Leicester and either Loughborough and Beeston or East Midlands Parkway. In the morning and evening some services are extended to Lincoln via Newark.

0800: Elite Male

0815: Elite Female

0830: Age Group Male

0845: Age Group Female

0900 – 1300: Morning Heats

1315 - 1700 Afternoon Heats

Last Heat: TBD 7 days prior to the event day. Waves of 150+ racers will be released every 15 minutes.

ARRIVAL:

Early! Registration opens at 7:00am so please ensure to arrive an hour and a half before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your packet, drop your stuff at bag check, get yourself warmed up and ready to race! See you at the start line.

WHAT TO WEAR:

There is no dress code at Spartan, you will be running in mud and water, climbing hills, running through forests, rolling under barbed wire and jumping through fire. Our Elites recommend performance gear (not cotton), water packs, compression underwear and race fuel.

CAMPING:

Why not camp with us for the whole weekend!

Course Details

This is our shortest distance. It is perfect for athletes of all levels; from Spartan first timers to seasoned racers. The 5 Km Sprint may be our shortest distance but it packs more than 20 Signature Spartan Obstacles. If you think you can’t do it, you’re wrong. Get to the starting line and show yourself what you are capable of.

Want a front row seat to all the Spartan action? Spectator entrance for Spartan Race UK is FREE. Spectators are subject to standard parking fees. Bring CASH, limited ATM/Credit Card services. You’ll receive entry to the rocking festival area, festival obstacles and not to mention the epic start & finish lines.

Unforgettable experience *****. Extremely well organised with great support and coaching from the marshalls, coaches and fellow runners! Theres always someone willing to support someone else! I will never forget what I achieved at this event and what a great team...aiming for the the trifecta now 💪
