Organiser's Description

This its our longest and toughest ride that will challenge all those taking part. Starting in St Ives, Cambridgeshire crossing nearly the whole width of the country including ten different counties before arriving on the west cost at St Ives, Cornwall. You will be supported along the whole route by our first class support team.

The routes will not be fully sign posted, a riders info pack will be emailed to all riders the week before the ride, included in this pack will be the confirmed routes which are downloadable for GPS devices. Included in your entry fee will be breakfast in our hotels, an evening meal in Cornwall and food at our lunch stops each day.

Route & Itinierary

Registration will be between 07:00 and 07:30 on Friday 11th September at: Zest café and Bar St Ives Westwood Rd, Saint Ives PE27 6WU

You will be able to park or be dropped off but I would not recommend leaving your car here for the whole weekend.

There are changing rooms if needed.

At registration please sign in, we will check your contact info, give you your event number, please hand over your overnight bag and we will do a short briefing. After a quick photo we will be leaving at 08:00

The route is not sign posted so you will need to navigate the route. The routes will be confirmed 1-2 weeks before the ride and will be emailed over to everyone as a Strava link that can be downloaded.

Day One - 126 miles, approx 7000ft of elevation
We leave the market town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire and head south towards the Chilterns. We ride through the outstanding Chiltern Hills, then on to the North Wessex Downs before arriving at our first over night stop on the outskirts of Swindon.

Day Two - 136 miles, approx 9300ft of elevation, the tougth day !
We leave our hotel and head towards Bath then through the Mendip Hills, round Bridgewater, and over the Quantock Hills, through Exmoor National Park before arriving at our hotel in Barnstable.

Day three - 120 miles, approx 8000ft of elevation
We leave our hotel and head south through Devon and along the coast to Cornwall. We ride over Bodmin Moor before finally rolling into St Ives. After a short rest we will have a celebratory meal.

Day four
After breakfast our luxury coach will pick us up from our hotel and take us back to St Ives, Cambs.

Pricing Information

PACKAGES FROM £475. Book now with a £150 deposit.

Included in your entry fee will be breakfast in our hotels, an evening meal in Cornwall and food at our lunch stops each day. You will need to purchase your own evening meals on day one and two.

This price is based on two people sharing a twin room if you are going to be riding with others please let us know so we can allocate rooms together.

A single room in all three of our hotels can be booked at an additional cost on £150 this can be included at the time of booking.

A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking and the remaining amount is due 8 weeks before the challenge starts.

The training ride and riders briefing will take place around 8 weeks before the ride, full details of which will be emailed to all those entered early 2020.
