Organiser's Description

Strathclyde Park Multisport Festival 2016 promises great racing at the superb Strathclyde Country Park venue that has become the iconic home of triathlon in Scotland. ITU and ETU Age Group qualification races will be part of this fantastic Festival; alongside the qualification races will be an open sprint race suitable for everyone, Tristar events (distances tbc), a 10km race on good trails and closed roads within the Park, and a round of the ITU Paratriathlon World Series. The swims will be in a freshwater loch, the bike legs will be multiple laps of an undulating, closed-road tarmac course, the runs will use flat loch-side tarmac paths and well-surfaced trails.
