Swanage Triathlon Festival

Swanage, Dorset

Sandpit Field, Swanage, BH19 1NR

Sun 30th June 2019

Organiser's Description

Set in the Dorset seaside town of Swanage, in an area of outstanding beauty know as The Isle of Purbeck, this event is known for its stunning views. Transition overlooks Swanage Bay, with amazing views across the Purbecks towards Old Harry Rocks, the eastern gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The bike leg has a mix of steady climbs and some of the steepest descents in Dorset. The run is a tough trail climb up Ballard Down towards Old Harry Rocks. The reward is the awesome views at the top! Three distance options, plus relays.

There will also be a long swim, with two distances on offer, and an aquathlon with a point to point sea swim and a run which will take you up past the famous lighthouse.
